Jennifer Lopez Allegedly Urged Co-Star To Pretend To Be Single, Ex Claims

FORMER co-star Ryan Guzman’s ex-girlfriend, Melanie Iglesias, has accused Jennifer Lopez of pressuring the actor to appear single to ensure their 2015 movie, The Boy Next Door gained massive publicity and popularity.

“She made my ex, oh my God, pretend that he was single to promote the movie,” the Maxim model said while accusing Lopez in a recent episode of the No Chaser podcast.

“The publicists, both of them, called me … so they were at afterparties together, like, holding hands and stuff to promote this.”

Iglesias was reportedly in a relationship with the Guzman when he was busy promoting his movie with Lopez.

Ahead of the movie’s release in January 2015, both Lopez and Guzman were seen cosying up to each other at a Golden Globes after-party, which coincides with Iglesias’ claims.
“At one point, Ryan moved back on the couch and then he put his arm around Jennifer,” a source had said. “They also left together,” the source added.

“It was just, like, that sucks,” Iglesias said on the podcast.

Additionally, she recounted an instance when Lopez remained evasive regarding Ryan Guzman’s relationship status during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“We friggin’ met. What do you mean you don’t know if he had a girlfriend? We met. You squeezed the s–t out of my hand. I’m still black and blue,” Iglesias said.
