The decision for BTS to enlist was a collective one, despite discussions about exemptions for the globally renowned group. This commitment to their country resonated with fans who understood the importance of fulfilling this duty.

J-Hope’s enlistment is expected to end around October 17th, 2024. Following close behind, Suga began his service in September 2023, though due to undisclosed health reasons, he serves as a public service worker and is projected to be discharged in June 2025. The remaining members, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, have also initiated their enlistment procedures. News outlets anticipate their enlistments to occur throughout 2024, ensuring a full group reunion sometime in 2025.
