Uma Thurman Joins Pulp Fiction Co-stars John Travolta, Samuel L Jackson For 30th Anniversary Reunion In LA, Calls It 'Historic'

AT the 2024 TCM Classic Film Festival in Los Angeles, stars Uma Thurman, John Travolta, and Samuel L. Jackson delighted fans with an unforgettable Pulp Fiction reunion.

Thurman, who is popular for essaying the role of Mia Wallace in the 1994 Quentin Tarantino classic, exuded elegance as she hit the red carpet wearing a black tee, paired with oversized trousers, and a cozy cardigan.

Speaking with ET, the actress expressed her excitement and appreciation for reconnecting with her fellow cast members from the iconic film, including Travolta and Jackson.

“It’s fantastic,” Thurman told ET. “It’s a historic and a totally moving and touching thing,” she added.

Thurman also expressed her delight on seeing the film being cherished and honored at the festival. “It’s wonderful to have the movie remembered and thought of tonight.”

At the 67th Academy Awards, the film had bagged seven nominations and won Best Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen (Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary).

At the 52nd Golden Globe Awards it was nominated in six categories and won Best Screenplay – Motion Picture.

At the 48th British Academy Film Awards it was nominated in nine categories and won two, which included Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor (Samuel L. Jackson). At the 47th Cannes Film Festival it won Palme d’Or award.

At the 94th Academy Awards too, Pulp Fiction stars had reunited.

Moments following the shocking incident where Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards, the trio, who had presented the award for best actor, seized the moment to honor the acclaimed film.

Recognized as one of Tarantino’s finest works, the trio recreated a memorable scene from the movie. This gesture marked a notable departure from Travolta’s previous Oscar appearance, which became infamous when he famously mispronounced Idina Menzel’s name as ‘Adele Dazeem’ during the 2014 ceremony. As Jackson stood at the lectern, Travolta and Thurman brought to life the iconic dance routine from the film’s diner competition.
