I Have Been Labeled By Many Names: Rhea Chakraborty

Rhea Chakraborty recalled how her struggle of being labeled with many names while working in the industry.

ACTOR Rhea Chakraborty, who is currently being seen on MTV Roadies, recently spoke about her struggling days in the industry. The actor recalled how she was labeled by many names but never let it stop her from doing what she wanted.

In a recent episode of Roadies 19, Rhea was seen consoling contestant Shuly Nadar about body positivity. The contestant shared her experience of being in an abusive relationship and how people would bully her because of her skin color.

Rhea got emotional listening to her struggles and recalled her own. “A lot of people will say a lot of things. I have been labeled with many names, and many things have been said about me. But will I accept those labels? Kya main unke wajah se apne life me rukungi? Bilkul bhi nahi…. Let them go. Kaun hai woh? (But will I stop because of the chatter around me, absolutely not. Who are they?)” the actor said. 

She further added, “Nothing is wrong with your color, you are absolutely beautiful and strong. You deserve the best in life and jo bhi aapke sath hua, woh aapki galti nahi hai, unki galti hai (It was their fault, not yours)”

Roadies Season 19 is being hosted by Sonu Sood. The show features Prince Narula, Gautam Gulati, and Rhea as the gang leaders. 

Rhea was a VJ on MTV. She also starred in several Bollywood films including Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Jalebi and Chehre. 

The actor got embroiled into controversies after the death of her boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput. She was reportedly living in with Sushant before his sudden death in June 2021.

Rhea keeps sharing pictures and videos with Sushant on his birth and death anniversary. Recently, she shared an unseen video from one of their trips to mark his 2nd death anniversary.
