THEBLACKLABEL Issues Official Statement Regarding Accident That Injured Four Staff Members

FOLLOWING an unfortunate incident, THEBLACKLABEL has released an official statement concerning the well-being of its staff.

As reported by Osan Police Station and Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters, an accident occurred on February 28, involving four individuals, including a photographer and staff members who were in the process of preparing for a photo shoot. The incident occurred at an abandoned factory, where the individuals fell approximately 6 meters (around 20 feet) from the second floor of the three-story building. The photo shoot was being arranged for THEBLACKLABEL’s idol trainees.
As a result of the accident, two individuals, one in his 40s and another in his 30s, sustained severe injuries and were promptly transported to a nearby hospital. Additionally, a man and a woman in their 20s were also taken to the hospital due to minor injuries, including back pain.
Fortunately, all four individuals are currently in stable condition, with their injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

Following the accident, THEBLACKLABEL shared an official statement.

On February 28, while carrying out a shoot, an accident occurred in which staff fell. Out of the four injured, two are staff members of an outsourced production company, and the other two are employees of our agency. They were transferred to the hospital immediately after the accident, and actions were taken for them to undergo complete medical examinations as well as treatment for their injuries. The agency promises to do our best for the speedy recovery of the injured after consultation with the medical staff, and we will be more careful so that accidents do not recur at filming sites going forward, the statement .
