Royal Jam Wars: Buckingham Palace Launches Its Own Strawberry Preserves As Meghan Markle Teases New Brand
Meghan Markle.

SHORTLY after Meghan Markle sent the first batch of strawberry jam from her upcoming lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard toselect influencers, Buckingham Palace’s official store swiftly unveiled its own regal version of the beloved preserve.

Meghan relied on her circle of high-profile acquaintances to showcase the artisanal American Riviera Orchard jam, elegantly presented alongside bowls of oranges. On Wednesday, the official Instagram page of Buckingham Palace Shop showcased its own interpretation of the delectable spread. Their reel highlights four quintessentially British ways to savor the product, proudly emphasizing its use of only the finest British berries.

While Meghan’s American Riviera Orchard line features a logo reminiscent of a royal crest, Buckingham Palace’s rendition boasts the authentic Royal Coat of Arms emblazoned on each $4 jar, priced at 3.95 pounds sterling and available for international shipping. This emblem bears the esteemed motto of the Order of the Garter: “Honi soit qui mal y pense,” translating to “Shame on him who thinks evil of it.”

Several social media users took to the comments section to react to the video. One user wrote, “The Empire strikes back. (Sorry, someone has to bring that one on.” Another comment read, “Why buy an imposter when you can have the real royal strawberry jam!” “Oh my – the war on Insta-jam has begun,” wrote another user.

The pricing for Markle’s jam remains undisclosed, leaving speculation about potential mass production unanswered. However, industry experts note parallels between the aesthetic of American Riviera Orchard and the exclusive celebrity food brand Flamingo Estates, renowned for selling luxury items like LeBron James or Julianne Moore honey for a staggering $250 each.

Meanwhile, reports from DailyMail.com unveiled Meghan’s latest Netflix project—a cooking series promising viewers an intimate look into the culinary world. Notably, the production is not set in her own kitchen.
