Her next venture includes a role in director Shankar’s highly anticipated film Indian 2, starring stalwarts such as Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simhaa, and Priya Bhavani Shankar. Notably, the first installment was released in 1996.

Indian 2 commenced filming in 2019, but production was halted in 2020 due to a tragic incident where a crane collapse on set near Chennai resulted in three fatalities and ten injuries. The film, featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander and penned by writers Jayamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu, and Lakshmi Saravanakumar, unveiled its first poster during the Pongal festivities in 2020.
