THE much-awaited movie, The Archies is all set to have its first glimpse unveiled this weekend. The cast of the film along with director Zoya Akhtar will be attending the Netflix Tudum event in Brazil this weekend to give the audiences a special look into their upcoming film.

Taking to their official Instagram page, The Archies shared a new picture of the cast members from Sao Paulo. In the new poster, the cast can be seen with their backs facing the camera. “Riverdale ke ballroom se Sao Paulo ke stage tak, the @archiesnetflix are always together 🥰 But, what are they up to now?” read the caption of the post. Take a look:

In another video shared by The Archies Instagram page, the cast can be seen chilling together as they jet off to Brazil to attend Tudum 2023. “Iss gang ke adventures can’t be contained in a picture, so we clicked plenty! 🥰 Coming soon, only on @netflix_in!” Watch:

The Archies marks the Bollywood debut of Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda; all of whom belong to film families. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan shared a new poster of the movie and wrote, “I remember when I was young ( millions of years ago ) would book my Archie’s Digest in advance to rent. Nostalgia. I hope Big Moose is also in the film! All the best to the whole cast and love.”

Agastya Nanda’s mother Shweta Bachchan got nostalgic seeing her son on the poster and shared a throwback image of her children. Penning an emotional note alongside, Shweta wrote, “I opened a drawer today, ostensibly to clean it and all my memories spilled out. Who would have thought way back then that this little boy with a cheeky grin would have his first movie poster out today ? And his sister barely even 13 in the picture would turn out to be such a force !?”

She further added, “When your children grow up and you start slowly moving to the sidelines as they forge their own path it feels like you’ve taken your whole heart and and left it out of your body unprotected, how frightening but there is no way around it. I guess this is what life is all about; letting go x.”

The Archies is slated for a release on Netflix this year.
