Blind Teaser: Sonam Kapoor Makes A Stellar Comeback With New Mystery Thriller

Sonam Kapoor will be making her onscreen comeback with the mystery-thriller film, ‘Blind.’

THE much-awaited teaser of Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s comeback film, Blind has been unveiled by the makers. The actor will be seen in a leading role after a gap of four years in this mystery thriller film.

Taking to their official Instagram account, JioCinema shared the teaser of the film with the caption, “Evil comes in many forms, but so does the truth…Will Gia be able to conquer the darkness? Watch #BlindOnJioCinema, streaming free 7 July onwards.” Watch:

Directed by Shome Makhija, Blind is the official Hindi language remake of the Korean crime thriller film by the same name. The film was released in 2011 and was directed by Ahn Sang-hoon.

In the teaser, Sonam could be seen chasing a serial killer despite her visual impairment. The film also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, Lilette Dubey, and Shubham Saraf and will be released on JioCinema on July 7, 2023. 

Fans of Sonam couldn’t keep calm and flooded the comments section with their reactions to the teaser. One user wrote, “Sonam with her choices🔥.” Another comment read, “Sonam after long time…..!!! Excited @sonamkapoor Since 2019 I guess & purab even u do well *OUT OF LOVE * was Terrific.”

Sonam has been away from the limelight after tying the knot with long-time boyfriend Anand Ahuja in 2018. The duo welcomed their first child, baby boy Vayu last year and have been residing in Delhi, Mumbai and London. 

According to reports, Sonam has been invited by Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak for a special reception to celebrate UK-India week 2023. The reception will be hosted by the UK PM at his official residence and is a part of India Global Forum’s flagship event UK-India week, which is being held from June 26-30 in London. 

Sonam will reportedly be attending the reception on June 28 to represent India and its cultural influence globally. The actor was also a part of King Charles III’s coronation concert that happened in May 2023.
