Harry Styles' Stalker Given Prison Term And 10-Year Concert Ban

HARRY Styles’ stalker who had sent him “a total of 8,000 cards in one month” and expressed “sexual urges” is facing jail time. Accused of stalking the former One Direction star, Myra Carvalho had recently appeared at Harrow Crown Court in London.

A 10-year restraining order has been put in place.

Carvalho found herself facing a 14-week imprisonment after she pled guilt to a charge of stalking, which caused significant distress. As reported by The Mirror, she received additional orders prohibiting her from attending any events featuring Harry Styles, and she was strictly forbidden from any form of direct or indirect communication with the singer. Alongside her sentence, she was also required to pay a surcharge of £134.

“This defendant has traveled all the way from Brazil, and has frequently and to an extremely intense nature [harassed Styles] by sending over 8,000 cards and describing sexual urges towards him,” prosecutor Alejandra Llorente Tascon had said in February. “She has a partner [in Brazil]… It also causes great concern to the complainant. She hand-delivered letters and wedding cards.”

Carvalho had allegedly expressed “sexual urges” towards Styles, which left him “shaken”.

“Harry was really shaken up. He had spent the start of the month in Anguilla with Taylor and James Corden, and he’d had a great break,” a source was quoted as saying by DailyMail.

“This happened not long after he had come back. Harry just wants to carry on as normal, but this has been concerning,” the source added.

During proceedings, Clementine Simon, representing Carvalho, had informed the court that her client’s doctor had diagnosed her with a “manic episode,” raising doubts about her ability to plead.

In 2022, stalker Diana Tarazaga-Orero had barged into Harry Styles’ residence three years after she was convicted of stalking.
