Exhuma Gets Over 3 Million Moviegoers In 1 Week

EXHUMA continues its triumphant run at the box office, showing no signs of deceleration!

Since its premiere on February 22, the star-studded movie has maintained an unbroken streak of eight days at the top spot in the Korean box office.

On March 1, the Korean Film Council disclosed that within just two days of crossing the 3 million viewership mark, Exhuma had already exceeded 4 million attendees—a remarkable accomplishment, marking it as the first film of 2024 to reach such a milestone.

It’s worth noting that Exhuma achieved this feat at a swifter pace compared to the recent blockbuster 12.12: The Day, which took approximately 12 days to reach 4 million viewers before eventually becoming the sixth-highest-grossing film in South Korean box office history.

Exhuma delves into the realm of occult mystery, and revolved around two exorcists that are played by Kim Go Eun and Lee Do Hyun, alongside a mortician played by Yoo Hae Jin and a feng shui master portrayed by Choi Min Sik. Together, they undertake the task of relocating enigmatic graves in exchange for substantial financial rewards.
