JADA Pinkett Smith recently revealed Oscar-winning actor and husband Will Smith’s response to rumours surrounding his sexuality. The news comes after a recent social media speculation alleging a sexual relationship between Will and actor Duane Martin. Will’s representative vehemently denied the claims, stating, “This story is completely fabricated, and the claim is unequivocally false.”

According to People magazine, the initial allegation was made on the show Unwine with Tasha K by Brother Bilal, who asserted that years ago, he witnessed Smith, 55, and Martin, 58, engaging in a sexual encounter. Jada, 52, addressed the rumour on The Breakfast Club, calling it “ridiculous” and “nonsense.”

In an interview on Unwine With Tasha K, Brother Bilal claimed to have witnessed the alleged incident years ago. Jada shared that when Will heard about Brother Bilal’s claim, he responded with humour, stating that her husband “is always gonna find the funny.” Despite the seriousness of the situation, Jada explained, “You have to because it’s absolutely ridiculous… So all you have is, you just gotta laugh about it. And it’s unfortunate.”

Jada mentioned that Brother Bilal attempted a “money shakedown” that didn’t succeed, and legal action would be taken against him. She emphasised that making up false, scandalous stories is actionable, and they intend to pursue it legally.

Brother Bilal did not respond to People’s request for comment. A source close to the Smith family revealed that Will and Jada, approaching their 26th year of marriage, have faced and ignored innuendos and homophobic rumours for years. The source stated, “Will and Jada are united that this is just another person trying to use their fame for advancement. They will sue him.”

Jada addressed the persistent rumours about her and Will’s sexuality in her recently released book, Worthy. She expressed frustration at the absurd claims, such as being each other’s beards or engaging in various relationships. Jada clarified that while rumours have suggested she is gay, she has had a few experiences with women, ultimately realising her preference for men in matters of intimacy.
