Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan took to his social media account to drop a special birthday video for his daughter Suhana Khan. Suhana, who is all set to make her big Bollywood debut this year, turned 23 on Monday.

Taking to his Instagram account, Shah Rukh Khan posted a video of Suhana Khan, who could be seen twirling inside a skating rink. Dressed in a casual outfit, she could be seen flipping her hair with a big smile on her face throughout the video. Captioning the video, the Pathaan star wrote, “Today is the day to get your Happy On….and forever. Love you baby.”

Suhana Khan will be making her much-awaited Bollywood debut with filmmaker Zoya Akhtar’s Archies. The film is said to be a musical adaptation of the popular Archie Comics series and marks the debut of several star kids. Apart from Suhana Khan, veteran actor Sridevi and filmmaker Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor will also be making her Hindi film debut with the movie.

Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda will also be seen in a lead role in Archies. The film also features Dot, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda, and Alyy Khan.

The film will have a direct-to-digital release on OTT giant Netflix. Speaking about Archies, director Zoya Akhtar revealed the plot of the film in a conversation with the CEO of Archie Comics, Jon Goldwater.

“It’s been an absolute honour to be asked to make an Indian adaptation and the first-ever film for this very iconic Archies franchise. This is a surreal experience since Archie Comics was a part of my childhood. It is super exciting to take these beloved characters and introduce them to a new generation but still keep the nostalgia of the original comic alive,” Zoya Akhtar was quoted as saying in a report by Hindustan Times.

The filmmaker further added, “We have set it in the Anglo-Indian community in India and can’t wait to transport you to the magical, fictional town of Riverdale.”

Archies is slated for release this year.
