KARTIK Aaryan and Kiara Advani-starrer musical-romantic film SatyaPrem Ki Katha managed to put up a decent total at the end of its first weekend at the box-office. On Sunday, the film collected in double digits but failed to cross the Rs 40 crore-mark.

Directed by Sameer Vidwans, SatyaPrem Ki Katha enjoyed an extended weekend at the box-office and released on Thursday on the occasion of Eid-Al-Adha. On its opening day, the film collected Rs 9.25 crore followed by Rs 7 crore on Day 2 and Rs 10.10 crore on Day 3.

The film saw a jump in its collections and raked in nearly Rs 12 crore on Sunday. The movie’s total box-office collection in 4 days stands at approximately Rs 38.35 crore.

SatyaPrem Ki Katha marks Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s second time on screen pairing. The duo earlier starred together in the 2022-blockbuster film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

In a recent press interaction, Kartik Aaryan said that he is proud of each and every frame of SatyaPrem Ki Katha. “Creative discussions and all take place because the film is extremely precious for us. I think in my entire career I haven’t ever been this involved in a film as much as I have been in SatyaPrem Ki Katha because I really believe in the subject and I feel proud to be a part of SatyaPrem Ki Katha,” the actor told reporters.

The actor further added, “I think in my filmography maybe this is one film in which I have felt proud in every frame of the film, which i don’t know why but on a story level and from the beginning, the first day, when the first narration happened until now when we are on the stage i still have that proud feeling.”

Kartik added that he got attached to the film and revealed that feels it’s too precious. “We get attached to things and that causes agreements and disagreements, in some things it happens a lot when you are really attached to something, you feel like this is precious and this should be presented in the best way possible. We all are attached to this film, and that is unreal. And I think you find it with a lot of difficulties what we have found with SatyaPrem Ki Katha,” the actor added.
