Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Trailer: A Typical KJo Family Entertainer

With Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Karan brings a love story of two contrasting personalities.

THE trailer of Karan Johar’s much-anticipated directorial return Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been unveiled. As expected, the film offers an interesting mix of emotions, romance, humour, dysfunctional family, expensive sets, and stylized clothes.

The trailer begins with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh arguing, yelling, losing calm. Honestly, they are interacting how two lovers would these days, no? The trailer may have kicked off with a tiff, but what follows next is romance, humor, confusion, an important “switch”, clashes and a love story that is meant to be.

Since the couple is firm about their decision to get married with the approval of their parents, they set out to win over each other’s families. While Ranveer’s grandmother (Jaya Bachchan) is conservative and strait-laced, Alia’s family stands in contrast. The humor that comes out from the differences that emerge from these two different families promises to offer the viewers an unforgettable love story.

A look at the trailer is enough to convince the viewers that the film will win hearts because of its mixed cinematic moments, flawless characterisation, how faithful it remains to the differences and how it handles the film’s main theme with finesse.

The trailer ends with the two parting ways. Ranveer is heard saying, “Hum kitni bhi koshish karle humaare beech ke fark khatam nahi hongay.” To which, Alia replies: “Farq toh khatam nahi hongay lekin yeh rishta khatam ho chuka hai Rocky.

The film looks engaging and witty, courtesy Rani and Rockky who will marry despite the great cultural divide (we know it, already?).

Within minutes of the release, the trailer has gathered immense appreciation and love from the fans.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani features Ranveer and Alia as the titular lovers.
