KARTIK Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s upcoming film, SatyaPrem Ki Katha has added yet another superhit track to its album. After songs like Naseeb Se and Aaj Ke Baad, the makers of the film have unveiled another song from the film, Pasoori Nu.

Sung by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar, the song is the remake of the global hit, Pakistan Coke Studio’s Pasoori. The song by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill became a chartbuster track last year and has over 500 million views on YouTube.

Sharing the teaser of Pasoori Nu, Kartik took to his Instagram account and wrote, “Relive the global hit! पसूरी नु ✨ Sattu – Katha’s pure love gets the magical touch of Arijit Singh’s voice 🤍 #PasooriNu Song Out Tomorrow at 11:11 AM.”

The teaser featured Kartik and Kiara in white and blue outfits. As soon as the teaser was out, netizens took to the comments section to react to the recreation.

One user wrote, “Only singer who can do justice to this masterpiece was ARIJIT Excited to hear it.” Another comment read, “Kartik Aaryan x Arijit Singh = Heaven.”

A section of fans were left disappointed with the news of recreation of Pasoori. “I feel even arjit singh couldn’t do justice for the song. Ali sethi is the best. Arjit singh shouldn’t have agreed to sing this,” read one comment. Another user wrote, “Remake is good but our original song is a masterpiece.”

SatyaPrem Ki Katha marks Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan’s second on screen outing together. The duo starred together in the 2022-blockbuster film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Speaking about his new film at a press event, Kartik said that he is proud of every frame of SatyaPrem Ki Katha. “Creative discussions and all take place because the film is extremely precious for us. I think in my entire career I haven’t ever been this involved in a film as much as I have been in SatyaPrem Ki Katha because I really believe in the subject and I feel proud to be a part of SatyaPrem Ki Katha,” the actor added.

SatyaPrem Ki Katha will be released in theaters on June 29, 2023.
