The winners of the IIFA 2023 were announced this weekend, with Hrithik Roshan and Alia Bhatt winning the Best Actor awards.

ONE of the most talked about awards in the Hindi film industry, the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2023 were held over this weekend. From Salman Khan to Vicky Kaushal, the event was a star-studded affair.

The winners of the top awards of the night were announced on Saturday. Hrithik Roshan created history by beating Shah Rukh Khan to record the most number of Best Actor wins by an actor. Alia Bhatt continued her winning spree at the award season this year and won the Best Actor (Female) award for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus film, Gangubai Kathiawadi.

R Madhavan won the Best Director award for his directorial debut film, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. South superstar Kamal Haasan was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema.
