Lynn Lends Her Vocals To The Opening Theme For CrosSing Project

Voice actor Lynn took on the role of the third performer in the ongoing eighth season of the cover song project CrosSing. She delivered a rendition of Shukufuku, originally sung by the Japanese music duo YOASOBI as the opening theme for the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. In the anime, Lynn lent her voice to the character Miorine Rembran, one of the two protagonists.

Previously, Kana Ichinose, who portrayed the anime’s other protagonist, Suletta Mercury, participated as the third performer in the project’s sixth season in August 2023. She sang Kimi yo Kedakaku Are, the first ending theme for the anime.

In a brief video message shared on Twitter, Lynn expressed, Since this song was the opening theme for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, I covered it this time, and it was a very difficult song. But I think I was able to record it with a lot of fun and all of my heart, so I hope you will listen to it a lot!

CrosSing, initiated by Pony Canyon in March 2022, is a cover song project showcasing the singing talents of performers active in various domains, including voice acting, anime singers, virtual YouTubers, and 2.5-dimensional actors.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, the latest Gundam TV series, aired for two seasons, totaling 24 episodes from October 2022 to July 2023. All episodes are available for Crunchyroll members across North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS regions.
